Le Rêve is a privately owned, multi-million dollar international direct selling organisation marketing exclusive high quality, value-based health and beauty products, utilising the glamorous Party Plan system.
KAYWEB were commissioned to develop an online website for the company, there are two elements to the Le Rêve website, the first being an online retail e-commerce website for all customers to be able to order products online. The second is a consultant ordering system, where a customer can host a party amongst family and friends and be rewarded. To add to this there are also two separate websites one for Australian ordering and New Zealand ordering.
Le Rêve is very complicated as the website needs to communicate with a custom made web service so that their in-house systems are able to grab the information from the website.
The Le Rêve retail site is a simple design with an easy navigation system, with a recent upgrade to the main website, the company now offers 'Set Savers' online, which allows a customer to save money by purchasing a set instead of individual products but within these sets there are a selection of 12 options but only 3 may be added to the cart.
The advanced CMS allows easy management of the products and information, all orders made on the website are handled by the web service as mentioned above to be directly imported into the Le Rêve system.
The largest part about this website is the consultant ordering system, this very advanced complicated task took Kayweb and Le Rêve a lot of time to perfect.
Unlike the retail site that only communicates with web service for the orders, the consultant system is FULLY managed by the web service system which meant a collaborative effort from both Kayweb and Le Rêve was required to be able to keep on top of the development at all times.
The consultant system has different levels of ordering, the steps are as follows:1) The consultant creates a Le Rêve Party with a Hostess;
2) The consultant orders all of the products for attendees of the party;
3) The consultant provides the Hostess with free products and orders her discounted shopping;
4) The consultant then orders and personal purchases for themselves;
5) The consultant makes payment and then sends the order to Le Rêve for processing.
The complexity of the above steps proved challenging at times as different rewards were given for certain amount of products ordered and different cross checks needed to run in the background to verify all information.
The consultant area also allowed for a CRM to manage all customers, reporting and a few other little features.
