KayWeb Creations and
KayWeb Systems has built a state-of-the art eCommerce website and web application for Melbourne childrenswear business,
Chipps Children's Boutique.
Chipps Children's Boutique was established in 1974 and has become part of the lives of hundreds of children and families on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. The store has been in its current location in Mt Eliza (Shop 15 the Strand Centre, Mt Eliza Way, Mt Eliza 3930) for nearly 20 years.
The Chipps website,
www.chippschildrensboutique.com.au was launched as a way to offer current customers, as well as every other customer, the same friendly service and expert advice online as they do in their stores.
KayWeb designed the website using vibrant colours and fun accessorising to help Chipps reach its target audience of parents of young children. The bubbles - central to the design theme - are further evidence of this.
The website is equipped with KayWeb CMS, with the eCommerce plug-in allowing for easy adding/editing/deleting of products and categories by staff. The bulk upload facility for both images and products makes uploading even easier to ensure everything is updated by the Chipps' staff with the minimum of fuss and delays in the seasonal fashion world they operate in.
Considering the Chipps' store in Melbourne uses MYOB Retail Manager, and the online store will be selling the same stock available in that store, it was integral that the eCommerce system and the store communicate. KayWeb's application development team - as
MYOB Developer Partners - developed RMSync (Powered by Kay Web Systems), which synchronises the website AND MYOB Retail Manager at selected intervals to ensure both systems are updated with the same information.
KayWeb also equipped chippschildrensboutique.com.au with their eNewsletter system, paving the way for web marketing direct to Chipps' customer base.
