MANILA: The KAYWEB office in Manila has led a community project to gather and provide relief for those affected by the devastating Typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan in the Philippines.
The office staff were mobilized, and also mobilized their families and friends, to donate sacks of rice and plenty of ready-to-eat food. They split the items into around 50 individual food packs and sent it to the affected areas through the Red Cross in Marikina (Manila, Philippines).
"Everyone in our office felt sad for our brothers and sisters affected by the floods," said KAYWEB Manila head, Ian dela Cruz. "This was our way of showing them that we are here to help however we can."
In addition to this relief, KAYWEB Managing Director, Haig Kayserian made a monetary donation to the Typhoon Appeal via the Australian Red Cross.
