KayWeb was represented at the CeBIT e-Marketing Conference last month by Managing Director Haig Kayserian. The conference detailed the latest developments in search engine marketing.
Among the speakers at the conference were search industry heavyweights like Google and Yahoo!7, while web demography company Hitwise revealed to delegates the very latest website statistics and trends in Australia.
Kayserian, the Head of KayWeb SEO (search engine optimisation), said it was an event with great substance.
"The rapid changes in the web environment means, to best serve our clients, we must remain up to date with the latest occurrences," he shared. "The Conference was an essential place for anybody involved in SEO to be."
Kayserian expressed that among the most significant developments online was the rise and rise of social networking websites, such as Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, del.icio.us, Digg, and others.
He added: "The rise of social networking is very real. Facebook and their social networking and bookmarking friends have taken a considerable internet market share, while Google continues to raise its dominance in search. These were the most conclusive developments from the Conference."
Hitwise revealed at the CeBIT e-Marketing Conference that Google now owns a gigantic 88% share of the search engine market in Australia.
